CryptoLocker Prevention Tool

Nick Shaw from Foolish IT has written CryptoPrevent, a tiny utility to lock down any Windows OS to prevent infection by the Cryptolocker malware or ‘ransomware’, which encrypts personal files and network files. The virus arrives as a video codec download or in email attachments with disguised exe files (sample.pdf.exe) so make sure 'Control Panel - Folder Options - View - Hide extensions for known file types' is not ticked.
